Masters Tournament

Posted by Daniel Pusilo on

We are very passionate about golf and we follow it very closely. One of the activities that we have always participated in is Fantasy Golf. In this blog post we wanted to share with you our top 5 fantasy picks and 3 dark horse picks to win the 2014 Masters Tournament at Augusta National GC.

FANTASY PICKS

1. Jason Day

Jason Day

Currently ranked #4 in the world, Day has been in contention at the Masters a few times and he has already been in the winner circle this year.

2. Adam Scott

Adam Scott

What's more difficult than winning the Masters Tournament, how about winning two in a row? The odds are stacked high against it, and it is a feat that no one has been able to replicate since Tiger Woods accomplished it in 2002. But Scott appears to be on top of his game in 2014 and looking to add another Green Jacket to his collection.

3. Lee Westwood

Lee Westwood

Flying a under the radar this year, Westwood has not finished worse than T11 in the past four years at the Masters. This guy is due for a major victory.

4. Sergio Garcia

Sergio Garcia

Another player due for his first major championship, Garcia is #8 in the World Golf Rankings ans #3 in the Race to Dubai. Could this be his year?

5. Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar

Kuchar is a solid pick. He has posted two consecutive top 10 finishes at the Masters, and he his game has shown signs of life as of late.

DARK HORSE PICKS

1. Brandt Snedeker

Brandt Snedeker

Snedeker has had his struggles over the past year, but his game has looked better as of late. Not to mention that he has a very good record at Augusta. He has finished in the top 20 in each of the past three years and his game could be coming together at just the right time.

2. Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson

Johnson's has not finished higher than T11 in every event he has played in 2014. His performance paired with a strong showing last year at Augusta makes Johnson a good bet.

3. Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy

McIlroy does not have the best record at Augusta, but he is a better golfer than the current World Golf Rankings indicate. Not to mention, he is a two time major champion.
